About the piece:
In her new work Formally Phrased, with the Exception of a Few, Megan Lee Nicklos explores the relationship between eleven people, creating a tight knit community that sheds light on the individuals that exist within.
Recently, Nicklos’ piece was selected to compete at ACDFA 2011, the American College Dance Festival Association in Michigan, where her work will be adjudicated by a panel of nationally recognized dance professionals and if selected will be presented in the Nation Festival held at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. ACDFA’s primary focus is to support and promote the wealth of talent and creativity that is prominent throughout college and university dance departments.
