Danse Macabre

“Danse Macabre” translates to “Dance with Death,” no matter who we are, it is the one thing that unites us all.

‘Danse Macabre’ refers to the genre of art forming in the late medieval period that personified Death as a living and immortal being. This particular piece not only personifies Death as a tangible being, but also personifies other anxieties, fears, desires, and dreams. These personifications are brought to life with help from centuries old allegories of tarot cards.

This is a personal journey, but I hope you can relate too.
